NSCDC To Train 1,000 Private Security Guards to protect lives and properties in Borno



The Borno Commandant of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC),Mr Ibrahim Abdullahi, has disclosed to News Agency of Nigeria (NAN)  that the are planning to train  1,000 private guards for the sole responsibility of protecting life and properties in the state.

“This training will include regular capacity-building and set programmes on modern trends of crime prevention and security in private and public institutions.
“The training becomes necessary as it will expose the guards to know and identify very easily, quacks in their midst.

“The private guards will also assist the NSCDC and other security agencies in maintaining law and order, especially now that relative peace has been restored to the state,’’ he said.
