Anambra State Government introduces use of Point of Sale (POS) for tax and (IGR) collection

Chief Willie Obiano the Governor of Anambra state just announced that the people of Anambra state and everyone doing business in Anambra state can now pay their taxes through Point of Sale (POS). So if you are in Anambra state or doing business in Anambra state it is a good news and easy way to pay your taxes.Read his statement below,

"My people, Anambra State Government has launched the use of Point of Sale (POS) in government revenue and tax (IGR) collection. This will be run by banks in the state. The banks have given employment to thousands of Anambra youths to help in revenue collection via POS!
Reason for this innovation is that we want to sanitize the system and root out criminals that pose as government officials to swindle our people of their hard earned money.

We all know that the Federal allocation is shrinking rapidly and the Naira has taken a big fall.
But Anambra State must prevail!

Now that the economy is slow, we have to be more creative and tough. Remember that when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
Anambra State is a tough state.

We must keep paying salaries and we must keep working, come rain, come sun."
