Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu has agreed to settle out of court the N150bn libel suit against leveled agains the Chairman of AIT, Raymond Dokpesi over the documentary “Lion of Burdillion” aired on AIT ahead of the 2015 elections.
Their lawyers Wole Olanipekun representing Tinubu and Mike Ezekhome representing Dokpesi today Friday the 5th of February presented their terms of settlement which they agreed on the 29th of January,2016,before the trial court Justice Iyabo Akinkugbe.
In their terms of agreement which included a retraction of the broadcast by AIT, an apology by AIT, which should be aired daily for a quarter,4 months. The trial court subsequently adopted the terms of settlement and they have all gone home now to rejoice.
