Ekiti state university students auto crash: Gov Fayose urges Ekiti people to “reflect and pray”

Governor Fayose of Ekiti state this morning visited the survivors of the accident at the Ekiti state university teaching hospital.The accident that claimed 8 lives of students of Ekiti State University occurred along EKSU/Iworoko Road,involving a Lexus saloon car carrying students of Ekiti state University that collided with an oncoming bus.
The governor called on the people of Ekiti to reflect and pray for God's mercy on the State as well as his intervention in consoling families and friends of the victims. While discussing with the medical director the governor said,

"o ga o, we are seriously bereaved. This is sad. It is unfortunate."
 "I just have to sympathize with families of the dead and commit those still alive into the hands of God."
"We need to pray to God to avert calamities like this and I urge the people to embark on three days prayer."
"Reckless driving and over-speeding has cost us eight lives and some others in intensive care unit, I just want to commit them into the hands of God because there is nothing to say for now rather than to pray that God should intervene and console the families and the people of Ekiti", he said.
