President Ali Bongo of Gabon has been re-elected as the country's new president to continue from where he stopped.Ali Bongo is from one of the Africa’s longest ruling political dynasties.
Interior Minister Pacome Moubelet Boubeya said on Wednesday Bongo had won 49.80 percent percent of the vote, to 48.23 percent of rival candidate Jean Ping in a closely fought race.
Election analyst,François Conradie, with NKC African Economics, suspected fraud in the election and had this to say;
“We think, based on what the opposition has reported and on what sources have told us about people’s voting preferences in Gabon, that Mr Ping won more votes than Mr Bongo, and this election is a one-round, first-past-the-post contest. It seems that the fight is happening within the Cenap,” Conradie said.

No criminal implications in naming dog after person — Lawyers
The incoming Second National Vice President of the Nigeria Bar Association, NBA, Mr. Monday Ubani, yesterday, said that no offence is committed by someone naming his dog after somebody else.
He said: “In the eye of the law, it is not criminal for somebody to name his or her dog after another person. It may be offensive by examining the circumstances under which the incident happened. “I understand that a particular dog was named after a neighbour and both of them were not in good terms; in a Hausa community somewhere in the South-West.
“So expediency would have prevailed on him not to name his dog after somebody he was quarrelling with.
“The Bible says wisdom profited for direction. Anything you are doing must be with wisdom. If such a thing would provoke unnecessary argument, you should avoid it.”

The Igbo as a Blessing to Nigeria - Reno Omokri
Reno Omokri intelligently wrote this article confirming that the Igbo's are a blessing to this great country called Nigeria.Enjoy his article below.
"On the 15th of August 1945, the axis nations fighting in the Pacific theater defeated imperial Japan and two weeks later, Japan formally surrendered to allied forces led by the U.S. General, Douglas McArthur, who formally accepted the signed articles of surrender.
But though the U.S. defeated Japan, they never decimated Japan's great technological and industrial complex. They were visionary enough to distinguish these from Japan's military industrial complex, which they scrapped.
